I have been divorced for over 10 years.    Like most of you, it was one of the most devastating things that ever happened to me.  I wouldn’t have wished that on my enemies.  I was a sniveling mess.  From the start of being served the divorce papers to receiving the final decree that my almost 20-year marriage was over. 

After attending a church-based divorce recovery 7-week seminar while divorcing, I was able to address some of my emerging out-of-control emotions.  With the main one being anger, I was able to table it and flip the script, lean into it and heal from within.  I eventually became a facilitator at that same divorce recovery seminar.  I found the power within myself to guide others through the pain and hurt of post-divorce life. 

I figured that I had a knack for helping guide people to heal from the devastation of divorce.

Like Michael Rhodes, I felt that I had a higher calling and started The Divorce Devil Podcast in 2016.  My partner and I just recorded our 50th episode yesterday.  It is a divorce podcast about real people talking about real divorce topics.  A to Z topics like forgiveness, therapy, anger, setting yourself for success, kiddos, self-care, a village, and a host of others.  

I look forward to connecting with others seeking healing through this website.
